i'd say this question is as useless as asking for the "perfect build for whatever"..
just read through this forum and you'll see the strengths and weaknesses of each profession..
depending on their preferences everyone will give you different answers..(w/rt for uw probably, rt/r for forest, e/a for bosses and so on..)

in general
Ele and sin: quick runs but is limited to some places
Monk and Warrior: slower runs but can solo more places

no profession is the best at everything. every class is capable of farming also. its just a matter of what or where you want to farm.

It depends on what you define as "best".
Warriors are the best if you define best as most selection of areas you can solo.
Monks are good almost anywhere without enchant removal and kill faster than a warrior.
Then you have the less popular specialized builds for certain areas/enemies.
Overall there is no "best" because people are always coming out with new and faster builds.
I am sure there are also builds that are more effective than what is posted but are never given to the public because those people like to have their own build, or they just don't use the forums. (I know a 55 monk build that still uses prot bond that can still be used for smite runs, I just will not post it because it is not my build and the person who told me the build does not want everyone to know about it so it does not get nerfed).

If i had to pick i would say ele, just because of the hundreds of builds they can use.

probaly ele first, because of incredible boss farming and UW run capabilities, nex probably sin due to the fact that they can solo different places than the ele, for third... dervish or rit (i can't decide)

I prefer Monks for farming, because short of soloing you can use a Monk in just about any farm, and in 100% of normal team farms. Hell in a good number of solo areas you can use a Monk, and in duals you can aswell. Gotta love Famine + 55.
